PROBLEM STATEMENT
Until now, High Level Designs (HLD) have been produced in a manual way and the related algorithms are not mathematically modelled. An iterative planning approach is not feasible.
Multiple iterations of HLD generation are NOT feasible, thus not allowing to compare different scenarios, neither allowing to optimize the results in an agile way.
Finding the optimal route of a fibre-optic network with the most optimal architecture is a complex task that requires the mobilization of specialized and multidisciplinary teams and the consideration of numerous engineering constraints and data of varying quality.
Optimization of OLT equipment and the related number of ports is neglected, leading to massive cost which could be avoided by choosing the right architecture.
Simulation of several scenarios is virtually impossible to achieve due to the cost and time involved. This leads to often non-optimal choices, usually resulting in a consequent waste of time, material and poor quality results.
