AI & ML Core
The second layer contains the AI (Artificial Intelligence) & ML (Machine Learning) engine and analysers including blockchain capabilities. Our AI engines are extremely powerful and scalable, adaptable to any use-case and leverages the enormous processor power of X‑BRAiN to mimic the problem-solving and decision-making capabilities of the human mind.
3rd Layer
Data Lake
The third layer contains the data resource platform that is storing all data that has been gathered by e.g. IoT devices or simply streamed by public or private data sources. Our data lake enables scalable analysis over petabytes of data. It is in a seamless way integrated with our AI and machine learning capabilities.
4th Layer
Cloud Infrastructure
The fourth layer contains the hyperscaler-agnostic cloud infrastructure and is orchestrated by Kubernetes. Google Cloud is technology wise our preferred partner but the solution can on customer request or in order to consider local constraints be deployed on other hyperscalers like AWS, Alibabacloud or a private cloud environment.
5th Layer
IoT SIM & Device
The fifth layer contains the overall IoT PaaS (Platform-as-a-Service) that includes comprehensive SIM card and device management capabilities. If customer wishes we can provide IoT SIM cards. We have close relationships with leading Mobile Network Providers, so we can grant you access to the best available networks worldwide.
6th Layer
Connection Layer
The sixth layer contains the connection & transformation platform that is supporting all IoT relevant connectivity and protocol options. It can further connect to any public or private data source in a secure way.

- All services are also embedded in cloud based containers, that may be transposed to on-premises infrastructures.
- As premium security is a requirement for all X‑CITE solutions, we include it in all layers and services.
- Devices may be easily declared and managed in our embedded inventory.
- Users get secure access through our Identity Access Management services on our embedded portal.
- To enable a large developer community, all APIs’ are exposed in a secure manner including audit trails of executed operations.
